The GY-521 Module featuring the MPU6050 combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer on a single chip, providing precise motion and orientation sensing. With onboard Digital Motion Processing (DMP), it can compute complex motion algorithms internally, reducing the need for external processing.
