Welcome to Brandt Technologies! These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or purchasing from our site, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@brandttech.co.za.

1. Who We Are

Brandt Technologies is an online-only retailer based in South Africa, specialising in microcontrollers, STEM kits, and DIY electronics. We operate solely via our website and provide nationwide delivery.  Enterprise Number 2025 / 337191 / 07, Enterprise Name BRANDT TECHNOLOGIES (PTY) LTD

2. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Orders are only processed once full payment is received via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

  • Proof of payment must be emailed to support@brandttech.co.za with your order reference.

  • Orders not paid within 48 hours may be cancelled.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We deliver via trusted third-party couriers across South Africa.

  • Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.

  • Once your order is dispatched, a tracking number will be sent via email or WhatsApp.

  • Brandt Technologies is not liable for delays caused by courier services, but we’ll assist where possible.

  • Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the fault lies with us (e.g. wrong item sent, item damaged).

4. Returns & Exchanges

  • You may return eligible items within 7 days of delivery for store credit or a replacement. We do not offer cash refunds.

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.

  • To initiate a return, email support@brandttech.co.za with your order number, reason for return, and photo/video evidence.

  • Returns after 7 days may be accepted at our discretion and will incur a 15% restocking fee.

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless we supplied the wrong or faulty item. In those cases, we offer store credit equal to the return delivery cost.

5. Warranty

  • We offer a standard 6-month limited warranty on most products, unless otherwise stated.

  • Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • To claim a warranty, email us with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  • Warranty does not cover misuse, accidents, tampering, or wear and tear.

  • Sensors, clearance stock, consumables, and modified items are excluded from warranty.

  • Within the first 6 months, we will cover the shipping cost to send a replacement. After 6 months, shipping is at the customer’s expense.

6. Store Credit

  • Store credit is issued in cases of returns, overpayments, or agreed refunds.

  • It can be used on future purchases and does not expire.

  • Store credit is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, product descriptions, and tutorials, is the intellectual property of Brandt Technologies and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Brandt Technologies is not liable for:

  • Loss or damage resulting from the use or misuse of our products.

  • Any delays in delivery once the parcel is with the courier.

  • Customer errors in entering delivery details or order quantities.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is collected, stored, and used.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of those changes.

11. Definitions

For clarity, the following terms are used throughout these Terms & Conditions:

  • “Business days” refers to weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays in South Africa.

  • “Store Credit” refers to a non-refundable, non-transferable credit issued to your Brandt Technologies account, which can be used on future purchases.

  • “Warranty Period” means the 6-month time frame from the date of delivery, during which applicable products are covered against manufacturer defects.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Warranty Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and Brandt Technologies regarding the use of our website and services, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
